The phases of
a construction job.
Every one of these is work we take on. Hire us for a single phase or hand over the whole project — the standard does not change.
01Site Work & Foundations
Cleared, graded, and set on solid ground
Every building is only as good as what's underneath it. We clear the lot, excavate to grade, and pour the footings and foundation walls everything else sits on. Drainage and waterproofing go in before backfill, so water ends up where it belongs.
- Lot clearing and demolition
- Excavation and grading
- Footings and foundation walls
- Waterproofing and drainage
02Framing & Rough Carpentry
The bones of the building, squared and true
Framing is where a building gets its shape, and where it either stays straight or doesn't. We frame walls, floors, and roofs, set beams and headers, and build in the blocking and openings every trade after us depends on.
- Wall and floor framing
- Roof framing and sheathing
- Structural repairs and sistering
- Beam and header installation
03Roofing & Exteriors
Closed in, dried in, and built for Pittsburgh weather
Roofs and siding here take snow load, ice dams, and summer storms, so the details matter as much as the material. We tear off and repair decks, install roofing and siding, and finish the trim, soffit, fascia, and gutters that move water off the building.
- Tear-off and deck repair
- Asphalt shingle and low-slope roofing
- Siding and trim
- Soffit, fascia and gutters
04Concrete & Masonry
Flat, level, and finished to last
Concrete gets judged years later, not on the day it's poured. We build driveways, walks, steps, patios, slabs, and retaining walls with the base, slope, and joints that give them a fair chance. We also repair brick, block, and chimney work.
- Driveways and aprons
- Sidewalks, steps and stoops
- Patios and slabs
- Retaining walls
05Interior Remodeling & Finishing
From gutted studs to the last piece of trim
We take interiors down to the studs and back, or come in for a single room. Kitchens, baths, basements, drywall, paint, flooring, tile, and trim, with the work area kept contained because you're still living there.
- Kitchens and baths
- Basement finishing
- Drywall, taping and paint
- Flooring and tile
06Additions & Small Commercial Work
More room, more space, one contractor
An addition is two jobs at once: new construction that has to tie into an existing building without showing the seam. We build room and second-story additions, garages, outbuildings, and small commercial fit-outs, one contractor from foundation to punch list.
- Room and second-story additions
- Garages and outbuildings
- Storefront and tenant fit-out
- Structural openings and beams
Not sure where your job fits?
Most people are not, and that is fine. Describe it in plain words and we will tell you what it takes.
